I like schwab much better than etrade. I have both. The only reason I have etrade is so I can trade more than 1000 shares without getting raped on commissions. Now that schwab has a tiered commission setup, active trades only get charged $14.95 up to 1000 shares and then $.01 per share after. Etrade site is slower, execution times slower, account updating slower. I know I spend less time on the phone with schwab than etrade. Etrade #1 on my speed dial. <gg>
