<According to The Register, you are correct. Intel demoed a 1.5 GHz Willamette this morning.> From prior rumors, both Intel and AMD were supposed to have seen silicon upto 1.4G. This puts this demo 100 MHz past the highest rumored AMD MHz to date. Given what happened at ISCCC Intel probably didn't want to take any chances with a 1.3G demo. Will be interesting to see if or how AMD is planning on overcoming the media blitz.
