i wasn't watching for a second there, but it usually begins with the spoos. imagine you are a big boy and you want to sell some of your big cap POS stocks without anyone noticing...wait for a lull, jam the spoos and sell into the ensuing buy program. simple and effective, kind of like Summers, the Japanese and the bond market...
