To All, Re: OT I've read a lot of good replies this morning regarding OFF TOPIC post on this thread. True, we don't want to alienate those coming here for SUNW specific info but on the other hand life here on the ALL ABOUT SUN thread would be dull if we just stuck to SUNW related topics. I also like Lynn's idea about the "ALL ABOUT SUN weekend edition" thread but JDN raised some good points about that as well. The point that I was trying to make was that the SUNW regulars have gotten to know one and other though the years and there doesn't seem to be any reason why we can't help each other out. I spent a lot of time researching CREE. I found it to be a very exciting read from a technical standpoint (I am a Mechanical Engineer). I invested in it as soon as I understood their technology and the potential that exist. Yet I said nothing here at all until after it really moved. I was and am still very confident in the potential for Cree's technology but I didn't want to take responsibility for referring it to others. Looking back, what would have been appropriate would have been to mention CREE here to you folks with a brief description of the company and what I find exciting about it with the hopes of starting a brief but informative discussion. Then all the SUNW followers could have chosen to ignore the discussion or do there own DD on CREE. The point being that we all would have been presented with a choice. I still have a day job and a young family (three children - ages10 and under) so the time I can spend here is somewhat limited. I follow a number of threads and in all honesty can't keep up with much more. In my eyes there are some very credible people hanging out here so lets get off topic a little more often regarding opportunities that YOU have done DD and are excited about. briank
