Hello,

Yes, I remember. With your help and some others' I'm getting closer to figure out back-end, front-end, every-end for Tencor ... but back to Zycon. I live in the area and have seen "help wanted" adds for Zycon in the San Jose Mercury. As for the balance sheet, Morningstar reports (I guess as of the end of 1995) $11.3 mill as cash and equivalents, I assume your $5 m is the most recent figure. It does not look so good.

I have a few more pieces of information, First, Prudential seems to be pushing this hard (just heard from someone at work whose Prudential broker has strongly recommended it; I believe Prudential was one of ZCON's underwriters) Second, there was an article in interactive WSJ that mentioned ZCON, the title "Zycon Corp. Deems Low-Wage Labor Still Important, Finds It in Malaysia" Third, I collected institutional ownership data on the group (from wsj interactive as well, not sure how current):

ZCON 18.14 % (22 institutions)
MERX 55.06 % (56)
HDCO 65.91 % (70)
CCIR 45.03 % (31)
ELEX 6.46 (7)

Maybe IBD has more current information on this point.

I'll keep watching. We are still trying to get information from the company, we'll see if this time we get something.
