Steven Hecht served as President of Millennium Communications Inc. for the period from February 13, 1997 to August 30,
1997. For the period September 1, 1997 to September 30, 1997, the office of the President was
vacant and duties of the President were conducted by Eugene Foo, the then C.E.O. and Donna Marie Anton, a vice-president.
October 1, 1997, Tony Rothschild joined Millennium Communications Inc. and was made its
President. November 1, 1997, Eugene Foo resigned as C.E.O. in favour of Tony Rothschild, remaining with Millennium
Communications Inc. in a consulting capacity only.

- First Merchant Associates Inc. Launches Credit Card Programs

Steve Hecht of Millenium Communications Inc. ("MLU") is pleased to announce that First Merchant Associates Inc., (FMA) a
51 percent division of Millennium Communications Inc. has launched a credit card and point of
sale debit program with Subway Sandwiches. The initial results of the program have been very successful. Within 90 days the
average credit card transaction had increased by 73 percent compared to the average for cash
transactions before the implementation of credit card acceptance. The systems were installed in 50 locations. The program
included Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.
"The eyes of the fast food industry are closely tracking the Subway credit/debit card program and will be a determining factor
in the success and implementation in this market sector. We are excited to be working
with Subway, a group that is on the cutting edge of technology as it relates to their business," said Gordon Folz, President of
First Merchants Associates.
The Fast food industry accounts for $107 billion dollars a year in sales. Less than 1 percent of their sales come from credit
cards, compared to over 25 percent in traditional restaurants. FMA is currently running a
pilot program with another leading company in the fast food industry.
