Cirrus, some of the Willamette managers had to convince the marketing guys NOT to use the 3.0 GHz number in reporting the frequency. I think if Intel brought too much light to that feature, it would cause a lot of confusion in the marketplace. After all, 1.5 GHz is big enough.
