Hi Teri:

Looking at the articles about SVGI, my immediate reaction is that AMAT will grab this stock. Most of the thing that they look for as possible acquisitions are at Applied. Flat planel, Photo processing, CMP etc., Let us reverse this logic and look at from AMAT point of view. wont it be a good proposition for AMAT to buy SVGI at say 20 multiples. This is a damn good one. #1 SVGI is cash rich ( It appears, I havent done any research)
#2. It has photolithography which is an immediate addition to AMAT line.

#3. It appears that its revenue backlog is pretty good.

It is hard to acquire ASMLF because when you look at the majority shareholders, they are mostly semiconductors companies. From a long-term point of view they may not like to sell this to AMAT.

I dont know much about UTEK.

Regards

Kumar.
