I'm not an options player, so I could be way off here, but it occurs to me that what you say could be possible. Or maybe the value of the put increased as the implied volatility component increased by far over the implied decrease in the underlying security price component... Not sure if that makes sense, but would enjoy reading yours and others opinions on this... Thanks in advance..
