Over a year ago I tried out the street.com...decided I didn't like it....James wasn't the Guru he thinks he is...

Anyway...almost weekly I still get this kind of stuff:

Dear Friend,

"TheStreet.com has the best online financial journalism around."
--PC Magazine: The Top 100 Websites, January 2000

You took a look at us, but you left us. We took it personally. We know you
wanted real time quotes and we didn't have them. Well, we've got them now.

We know you liked somebody else's portfolio tracker more than ours. We made
TheStreet.com's better.

Most importantly, we heard that you wanted more tech coverage. For years I
have been reading Adam Lashinsky's breaking stories in the San Jose Mercury
News. I said we had to hire him, and he has now come on board. Lashinsky is
the best tech reporter in America and now he's ours. Lashinsky's a
money-maker. Period. He will deliver again.

We know investing is not just about making money in a bull market. We want
to make money in any market. To these ends, Lashinsky has also uncovered
some losers before they were losers. Okay, maybe he hasn't uncovered as
many as Herb Greenberg, who is in the most torrid streak of his 20 year
career. But Lashinsky alone is worth the price of a subscription!

As a hedge fund manager, I take a lot of calls from a lot of different
brokers. Sometimes they make me money and sometimes they don't. But I pay
them millions in commissions a year to get their calls. They can't help me
invest the way the TheStreet.com can. They can't help me trade the way
TheStreet.com can. Yet, TheStreet.com's standard rate is less than ten
bucks a month.

And now, for one day only, you can get 20% off a one-year subscription to
TheStreet.com. That's only $79.95 for 12 months of Lashinsky and
Greenberg; twelve months of information that will make you money.

Go to offers.thestreet.com and save
yourself 20 bucks! Enter your account information, click "proceed with
purchase" and your savings will be confirmed for you. Or call Member
Services at 1-800-562-9571 and tell them you want 20% off a one-year
subscription.

Give us another try. We deserve it.
