in conclusion... (there are two more pages, but many graphs interspersed so hard to copy)

Valuation
Over the last twelve months, Wal*Mart shares are up 37%,
well above a 5% rise in the weighted S&P Retail Composite,
an 18% decline in the equal-weighted S&P Retail Composite,
and a 12% gain in the S&P 500. We believe the sharp rise is
the result of a ?flight to size? as large pools of capital,
especially foreign buyers, are attracted to Wal*Mart?s global
expansion potential and liquid stock. On a forward four
quarter basis, Wal*Mart is currently trading at a 63%
premium to the market above its five year average premium
of 19%. Our price objective is $80, reflecting a multiple of 48
times our 2001 EPS estimate compared with a current
multiple of 39 times our 2000 EPS estimate.
