Steve, it's possible that Intel had at least two Willamette systems doing stuff. One would be the "gee whiz" 1.5 GHz demo, while the other would be a more stable Willamette system running Powerpoint. If that's the case, I don't know how fast "Powerpoint Willy" would have been running. Judging from my sources, I'd bet that the system wasn't running that much slower than 1.5 GHz.
