I was also unable to access SI, Classic or "new," until a few minutes ago. The Lion in Winter is one of my favorite films. I saw it first when I was in high school and was enchanted, although the "poetic license" is staggering. (In case I haven't mentioned it to you, my academic background is medieval history.) I have seen it since several times. Unfortunately, I do not have Bravo in my basic cable package, otherwise I'd be passing the popcorn to you right at this moment.

Light romantic comedy? I hope you are watching it now and refreshing your memory. It is about the clash and weaving of passions, intense lusts, and love remembered and experienced in the present. After watching it tonight, your comments in response should be interesting.

I always wanted to grow up to be Kate Hepburn, who reminded me of my mother. I didn't have the nerve to suggest casting her as me on The Movie. Too presumptuous by far.
