The significance of Eglen coming aboard is that he chose to do so and certainly the company wanted him given his abilities. Eglen elected to join because he recognized the awesome potential of the company's technology and position. He wanted to get on a rocket ship blasting off with all kinds of exciting potential. He could have gone anywhere he wanted. What potential? The potential to get the prayer wheel's output to heaven.
