I am in DIO as well and will be very happy if (when) it has the same kind of run that SILI has had. My profit on SILI is big enough (about $220 per share) that the ST cap gain tax hit does not make it worth it to me to sell. I save ~20% of the gain (the ST v LT difference) just by holding it for the lower LT cap gain, which means I have a few more months to go. I don't mind waiting though since I still expect SILI to be trading at $150 to $200 post split within six to 12 months. While there is always a chance of a 20% correction (like it did from $240 (intraday) to $180), I view the risk as small and very ST compared to the likely appreciation both ST and LT. In any event, I'd rather take the market risk that the guarantee of paying it to Uncle Sam.

These are the kinds of problems I like to have. <vbg>
