Compaq has new president in Brazil Story Filed: Tuesday, February 15, 2000 8:30 PM EST Compaq changed its management in Brazil last Friday. Emilio Umeoka replaced Michael Shoemaker as the president of the Brazilian subsidiary. Mr. Umeoka was working as vice-president of the American computers division. Mr. Shoemaker will return to the US, where it will assume the title of vice-president of corporate solutions and services for Latin America.
