Let's not fool ourselves. The announcement by CGI is just one in a number of orchestrated steps by Monty. It will soon be evident. BCE is laying the groundwork to transform itself from a holding company to a GLOBAL leader in e-commerce and B2B. Teleglobe takeover is just a first step. Teleglobe provides GLOBAL infrastructure for e-commerce and B2B transactions. With CGI, IFM, etc., BCE is becoming a true GLOBAL leader in e-commerce. Maybe more takeovers, is CGI next?
