Dear DownSouth and others: I have been following this thread and studying the introductory information for some time. I now have a question for the thread. Microvision (MVIS) I believe owns all the Commercial Rights to VRD (Virtual Retina Display) technology. Briefly this technology utilizes a laser beam which directed into the eye completely eliminating any screen at all. Among the advantages is what I understand to be incredible detail and color that cannot be duplicated on a screen. It is believed by the people interested in this technology that eventually it will completely revamp the way we view and interpret the world around us. The company has now developed military applications, are working on scientific applications and ultimately hope to get to consumer applications for this technology. Estimates are the consumer applications could be 3 or more years away except that recently we learned that it may be used in Toys much sooner than we thought. My question for the thread is this? Recently the stock has been moving up quite rapidly, do you think that MVIS is being perceived as a potential Gorilla? JDN
