James, agreed 100%. As I said yesterday, most likely we will not see
announcementuntill Feb 23, just to let ALA buy more on open market.
Also I can not believe that ALA EVPs would be so stupid do not see
LMDS, and intelligent xDSL.
ALA+ NN would dominate Pronto project and would allow ALA to go to Bell South, where they supply ADLS and take some business for Marconi
(ATM).
They know where ADSL and ATM are in bad.
Another point is that ALA taking NN is making direct strike against
this rival Siemens!!! in EU.
However, Siemens without its shares in N.America can not effort to buy NN.
Finally,How come ALA has sent its people to Ottawa if there are arguments on the top of ALA.
They are adding with NN to the bottom line immediately.
However if they are really so stupid, my be NN should rethink if ALA is the best partner.

Regards

Zbyslaw
