Smokey...

As you know I shorted this one some time ago at 12 and watched it go to 18 and then finally to 9 where I covered. I really had no reason to cover as I did not feel WEBB would ever make it but I simply decided to take my money and run. Probably will rank as one of my better decisions as I usually am very patient and stubborn at times.

After I covered WEBB, I stopped watching it for quite some time. I was shocked to see how far it has run up.

I believe that WEBB is riding the wave of XML and B2B. In my opinion and that may not be worth anything, long term.

WEBB's focus in B2B tends to be the very small to medium companies which corresponds to their Web development focus. Will the smaller companies in local communities develop B2B activities. Maybe but I feel it will be some time after the big guys do it.

On the other hand, I would not short WEBB right now as it has the big MO going for it. They need more financing and that will dilute shareholders value to an extent not known right now.

In addition, their very high valuation gives them "stock currency" which can also be used to either acquire or obtain financing. Again making it a dangerous short for me.

With all that said, I will continue to watch its price and watch for announcements.

Good Luck.
