I can add a little on CK and Josef.

CK stopped posting on SI because of the attacks/threats she was receiving for her efforts with Y2K. I don't understand people attacking one for such efforts no matter what position one takes. Though we suffered no ill effects, I believe the efforts by those who cautioned all of us raised the bar and we averted problems if otherwise left unchecked. CK was doing fine last time I talked to her a couple of months ago.

Josef, in his highly principled manner, felt promises regarding advertising (banners) were violated by GNET management and he stopped posting. He still was following some, or at least one, of the threads. We last spoke (via email) at New Years and he was well.
