Nikita,
None of the leading REITs are trading near the highs. This usually means one of two things:

1. This is a selling opportunity for BNP as someone is just establishing a position, and when they are done, it will fall again. (maybe for the high yield)

or

2. They are in play and the rumors are out.

I would be surprised if BNP turns out to be a leader in the next REIT upleg without extenuating circumstances. Of course, I'm convinced that I don't know that much based on REIT movements in the last 2 years.
