**OT**India Business Briefs:Wipro, Symbian In Wireless Pact

BOMBAY (Dow Jones)-- Wipro Ltd. (P.WPO) is to collaborate with U.K.-based company Symbian to develop wireless products in India, Press Trust Of India reported.

Moser Baer India Ltd. (P.MOS), a computer disk maker, announced a preferential equity offer to raise INR3 billion to INR4 billion to partly fund a INR10 billion expansion of its recordable compact disk manufacturing facility, according to Press Trust of India. The expansion will boost annual output to 760 million units from 150 million units.

ANZ Grindlays Bank's India unit has privately sold bonds for 2.00 billion rupees to institutional investors at a coupon of 11.15% per annum.

State-owned Housing & Urban Development Corp. will launch a INR5 billion loan securitization program next month, the first of its kind in the urban infrastructure segment, according to Press Trust of India. The securitization will cover HUDCO's loans to the urban infrastructure sector such as water supply, roads, bridges, ports and airports.

Global Telesystems Ltd. has allotted 342,539 shares for investors who have opted to convert their foreign currency convertible bonds into shares. -0- 16/02/00 14-21G
