VANCOUVER, Feb. 16 /CNW/ - Border Capital Corp. ('Border' or the
'Corporation') is pleased to announce that it has successfully closed the
previously announced private placement of CDN$2.2 million and received
conditional approval from the Canadian Venture Exchange for the transaction.
Border is also pleased to announce that it has retained Corporate
Solutions Inc. of Calgary, Alberta for its investor relations services.
The Corporation also reports there have been no material developments
other than the appointment of an arbitrator in each of its previously reported
arbitration proceedings.
Border Capital Corp. develops broadband Internet and interactive
television lottery game distribution systems, protected by U.S. and
International Patents. Border is also a majority investor in a successful
licensed gaming facility located in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
