ot - He can't seem to wipe that frat boy's smirk off his face. The most revealing incident for me: in a interview with a journalist he crudely mocked the death row final pleas of Carla Faye Tucker, whose sentence he wouldn't commute. When he saw that the interviewer was appalled at his callowness he quickly wiped the smirk off his face. No matter what you think of the death penalty, this was not the behavior of someone "presidential". (This vignette comes from a recent issue of the New Yorker.)
