Well, it's been over a week now, and I still haven't heard "American Pie" by Madonna. I even spent as much time as I could stand listening to the Madonna channel on spinner.com (admittedly not very long). No luck. However, I did come across this mini-review in today's Post: it is sensual and mystical...she's chosen autobiographical verses that reflect her career and personal history. I hope it will cause people to ask what's happening to music in America. No argument on the last sentence, I presume.
