Gregory Mullineaux: You have to watch out when looking at LG charts

I have made it quite clear that I am "trading" QCOM and not "investing". However, some of the trend lines you see are longer-term than a 15-minute interval chart may seem to imply at first blush. However, for traders a shorter-term time frames is necessary. I use several time intervals to analyse a stock....daily, and several intraday time intervals!

The falling resistance line (dark green) dates back to the high on 1/3/00 and the rising support line (red) dates back to 10/99. Not quite so short-term as you imply and a 15-minute interval might seem.

Admittedly, what I do is not simple and for someone not versed in technical analysis my charts may be hard to follow. However, I display it as I see it "real time". Even long-term trends have pivot points...those points can be viewed close up as well as from panned backed multi-year charts.

Good trading...

EDIT: By the way I have already posted longer-term interval charts over the last few days...

Regards,
LG
