I'm planning on skiing thurs and fri. Mt Rose is the closest place. It's supposed to be OK. SHuttle from the hotel take 1.5 hours..leaves the hotel at 7:30 (DOH!) and leaves the mountain(?) at 4:30 to return back to town. Since my lovely wife is coming it could end up just being a half day of skiing and a rental car..in other words 1/4 the skiing with %300 the cost<g> We can meet Friday morning for breakfast or something and head to the slopes (or slope in this case) mtrose.com
