Dear Vpelt: One of the stocks I bought since those days was GBLX at around 33 I believe its now about 60 I think. I still think it has a ways to go.
Another I bought during the bad press was TYC paid about 23 havent checked the price lately but while up substantially I think it has much further to run.
For those that are really conservative, I bought COST when the Calif. Scare drove it way down. Its now about doubled but falling last couple of days. I think its an excellent conservative hold even at latest prices.
Finally, since its only fair I mention the loss. The only negative I bought was AOL after the TWX/AOL merger was announced so at least I got it at what I thought was a cheap price but it has fallen since. I still hold it but would not suggest buying merely watching. It may drop further but I bet it turns out to be a screaming success someday. This in my mind is a long term play. JDN
