SanDisk Names Bo Ericsson Vice President Product Marketing and Jose Flahaux Vice President of Business Systems
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2000--SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SNDK - news) today announced the appointment of two new vice presidents to key company positions. Bo Ericsson has been named vice president of product marketing and Jose Flahaux has been named vice president of business systems. Both positions are newly created, and the appointments are effective immediately.
Ericsson, who has considerable technical and marketing experience, will be responsible for all product marketing activities. Before joining SanDisk, Ericsson held various technical and marketing management positions at Cirrus Logic and was vice president of marketing at ESS Technology. He was also president and CEO of Apache Systems and most recently has been an independent consultant. Ericsson was the founder and CEO of Micro Systemation AB, a software communications company in Stockholm, Sweden. He will report to Nelson Chan, senior vice president of marketing.
Flahaux, who will lead the re-engineering of SanDisk's business processes, has many years of experience in management systems, logistics, supply chain management, distribution and operations. At SanDisk, he will oversee the information technology organization, the order entry department and worldwide logistics. Flahaux previously was vice president of logistics and supply chain management at Raychem Corp. He was also president and founder of Supply Point Solutions and vice president and general manager of worldwide order fulfillment operations for the Unisys PC/server division. Flahaux will report to Ralph Hudson, senior vice president, operations.
