McKinsey & Co has received over more than 4,000 applications through India Venture 2000 indiaventure2000.com an initiative designed to help Indian entrepreneurs kick-start or grow their internet businesses. Of this, over 1,000 applications were received on Wednesday, the last day of registration. And this is against the 300-odd applications that McKinsey had originally thought it would receive. McKinsey will now shortlist the ideas based on business potential. The better ones will then be taken up for coaching. economictimes.com
