Hi people... I live in canada, so LT/ST tax rates capital gains do not apply... We pay the same rate, either short or long-term.. I have 4x JDSU June 120's, and I probably want to own the shares... Since you people talked about the summer doldrums, I was wondering what I should do... Should I wait until the 3rd week of June (expiration) and just exercise then, or should I exercise before, such as April (next earnings season, after the split in March as well)... They are already DITM these 4 June calls as they are 120's.... Will essentially April be high tide for JDSU, or will it be June (2nd quarter earnings ?) be still a good bet. Also, by thn (June) the ETEK merger should be close to closing... Any ideas ? Thanks in advance Jean
