On a more serious note...BE CAREFUL OUT THERE driving folks. When I was driving back from dropping my son off at school, a little girl and her brother (both around 8 or 9) ran right across this busy street. The boy made it, but the little girl got clipped at the very edge of her foot by a car. She tumbled onto the street and about 8 parents went running out to get her. I went screaming out with my bath robe flying. She was crying, but seemed OK. We called 911 and the paramedics came very quickly and took her off to the hospital. If she had crossed the street a fraction of a second later... The car was going 40 mph. We assume everything is going normally then this kind of thing reminds us to take our daily tasks seriously. Just thought I'd pass this along...maybe it will make everyone a bit more careful...at least for a couple days. <H>
