I don't think the probe itself will lead to much government trouble for DCLK. But the probe will serve to validate the burgeoning backlash that is forming against the company. And if this backlash continues to grow unchecked, you could start seeing calls for boycotts of sites which use DCLK technology. Things could go downhill very quickly if DCLK becomes the posterchild of everything that is wrong with the internet.
