Re: Last Few Miles, Look Ma No Wires! Scott, What a hoot. I'm at 3,500' and the North Sister of the Cascades is 21 miles LOS outside my front window, elev. 10,085'. So if the system proves up, great, I got a glacier to climb! When I was looking at the Aironet and Breezecom stuff early '99, I was seeing $7K as typical price tag on units, so things are getting a lot better. I concur with your view about Wi-Lan and the battle for IPR advancements. No one can rest on their laurels in this exciting age. I'm reminded of one of my favorite quotes: "The world is so fast that there are days when the person saying it can't be done is interrupted by the person who is doing it." Anon.
