You are not off base. I think that we will continue to have lots of volatility through Friday. I suspect that AG will not be overly negative or positive. My guess is that he understands that the market is in a precarious place right now and that the best thing is to slowly influence the system with action rather than words. I suspect that for every bearish thing that he might say, he will have an equally bullish counterpoint...but I am guessing.

I think that options expiration will determine the market direction far more than anything that Greenie might say.

I am always a bit of a nervous trader and I hate taking losses, so I always have an exit plan in place (I bought OTM puts on my high flyers today). Watch 1360 on the SPX, if we go below that, it is time to be very cautious.

But for the remainder of this week, I am not too worried.
