David, that is like saying a Porsche is a superior vehicle. Not if you want to haul logs or children.

Well, no matter WHAT one wants to do, a Porsche is considered to be most to be a "superior vehicle". It may not be a good fit for the job, but it is nontheless superior. As is Linux, IMHO, of course... (actually, I've had little exposure to Linux thus far, but lots of Unix, and IT is superior).
