I have to agree with you in this case. Holding March or April calls could possible not get the full effect of the PALM IPO, since it could get priced in by the street at a significant discount.

Of course, you also assume the risk that that both stocks take a significant hit when the PLAM shares are released to the COMS shareholders and all available to the market.

I bought some leaps, but to Danny's point I did buy higher strike prices to better leverage my position. I also did buy some March calls to take advantage of the quick hit, but my leaps are going to be long-term hold positions for me.

Let's hope that Common Stock, calls and leaps reward us all soon!
