Eric,

This press release from Jim Allchin contains the usual
b.s. you hear from every software project manager on
the planet. It's full of vague statements and half-truths
and it doesn't answer the charge levelled at W2K.

Note that he doesn't say that there are NO bugs, nor
does he say just how many verifiable bugs are present.
In fact, he doesn't quantify anything. Instead he tells
you how hard they're working and how much testing they've
done. Then he blames a code-analyzer for generating
false positives!!!

It looks to me like the market for this product is going
to be underwhelmed until M$FT can prove that it can
compete in the server market with it.
