She is a real smat person. When she first came on board she must have talked to analysts to drive down her stock price and if that was not enuf she probably put out real negative news when her options would be priced so she would get the stock option at rock bottom. Then she starts putting the rosy picture. She escaped LU right before things got difficult. She must have seen that coming. =============== rmbs I m glad u caught A.Grove. I do not have rmbs anymore as I cleaned up lots of misc stuff. Rmbs is not bad right here. It might pull bak to 120+ and could be great at that price. ---------- I think u meant INFY not insp CEO. Yes, I saw him. Quite impresive. The guy must have lots of kids to feed. He said he sold stock to feed the kids. Kidding aside, it may not be a bad idea own this stock on a heavy correction. Valuations for INFY is very high. It used to trade at like 500 PE now it's at 900pe. Earning growth is only like 50% or so but these guys are savvy and will be leaders of tomorrow. ======= wmt: One of the guys I work out with is a regional mgr. of WMT and was feeling very good about biz at wmt. If u don't like the way your stock performers wait for day and it will change. Or sometimes they say day trading means u close ur positions at the end of the day. ============ Trading is very difficult in this fickle market so I have sort of put myself on probation from trading but can't help it at times and I jump in for a trade as I see many oppurtunies in the market. Sometimes I just trade in my mind w.out putting money on line. It's probably a good idea to develop some trading rules and set aside some amount for trading. -------------------------- AMAT split was supposed to have announced last Nov. I was also expecting 3/1 split. I think semi equipment stocks have a lot better future then intc. Intel will be spending $5b on equipments. TXN and MOT are also slated to spend mony in this area as industry moves to .18 u. Over the next year copper tech. will move the sales and then the 300m above all I also like James Morgan's smile, kinda like the smile M. Dell used to have after reporting a stunning qurter. In semi sector, i m sticking w. leaders like txn, amat, intc. There are so many great companies but u just can't own them all. There are lots of smaller semi stocks i will trade but these will remain my long term holdings. Ok, i rambled too much. I will talk rest of the subject some other time.
