Wish I knew. I don't think it is a gorilla, but that question has been debated on this thread and on the G&K thread. I think cree has found itself in a good market for semiconductors, for small caps, and for suppliers of specialty products to cellular companies. Investors like the LED potential for cellular phones and the high power electronics for base stations. And I still wonder if they have some breakthrough in commercial quality blue lasers. Other than that, there is a lot of mo in this stock, and I'm glad I didn't dump or try to fight the tape. I think they will have to come out with some news release soon, and a split is almost certain at these levels. That should keep the mo going for a while, especially since its market cap is only 5B.
