Inforte boosts IPO price range to $30-$32/share

WASHINGTON, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Inforte Corp. said on Wednesday it raised the price range for its coming initial public offering to $30-$32 per share from $23-$25 a share, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The company, which provides technology consulting and systems integration services, now plans to net $56.2 million from the sale of two million common shares in the IPO, the amended prospectus said.

Inforte plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, working capital and capital spending.

After the offering, there will be about 11.7 million shares outstanding in the company, putting its initial market capitalization at approximately $362.7 million based on a $31 per share initial price, the midpoint of the new range.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the lead underwriter for the offering.

Inforte has received approval to list its shares on Nasdaq under the symbol ``INFT' (NasdaqNM:INFT - news) once it goes public.
