(BW HealthWire)--Feb. 9, 2000--Martek Biosciences Corporation (NASDAQ: MATK - news) today announced that its nutritional oils have been introduced in a premium term infant formula in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia. Martek's oils have been already introduced in over 60 countries primarily in pre-term infant formula. During the past 24 months, Martek's licensees have introduced premium term infant formula in 7 additional countries. ``Better formula is good business,' said Henry Linsert, Jr., Martek's Chairman and CEO. ``Parents around the world have voted with their wallets to buy the best nutrition for their children. I believe that these two new product introductions will be the first of many to reach the marketplace this year.' You tell 'em, Henry. Abbott can't keep the FDA stalling forever. Our day will come.
