Quite a day for the biotechs. By my calculation, it cost the biotech shorts over $900 million based on the last published short position. (In reality, probably somewhat less than this, as some of the shorts are likely boxed against convertible positions).

As the old saying goes, a billion here, a billion there and soon you are talking real money. <g>.
