21st Century Technologies Inc. Demonstration of Sea Patch Tremendous Success
FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2000--Ken Wilson, chairman of 21st Century Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:TEXN - news), today announced that the demonstration of the Sea Patch was completed today with tremendous success.
President Doug Spring and Senior Vice President Buren Palmer conducted the demonstration. Trident Technologies has put together a state-of-the-art demo trailer so that complete demonstrations, exactly like the ABS test, may be performed on site at every potential customer facility.
The demonstration today was the first performed for potential customers, and it could not have gone better. As expected, representatives from Exxon, the Coast Guard, MARAD, Garner Environmental, as well as ship owners, managers and other service-related companies were in attendance. Exxon and the Coast Guard filmed the demonstration and expressed enthusiasm about the possibilities of the Sea Patch.
One Coast Guard member stated: ``If I would have known about this, I could have used it last Friday on a vessel on the Mississippi River.'
Another member of the Coast Guard stated that, in his opinion, plants along the river would be crazy not to have these on their docks in case of collisions and possible leaks. The latter member is a key player in the issuance of fines for spills.
Even people who were somewhat apprehensive at first left the demonstration amazed with the abilities of the Sea Patch and excited about the worldwide possibilities.
Since Trident Technologies has a proven product (the only magnetic Sea Patch approved by the ABS), the company's sales force is eager to get out and sell Sea Patches. The company is expecting purchase orders in the next few weeks. As purchase orders come in the company will issue news releases.
