Alan,
I think that we are undergoing a shakedown right now. The
strong companies will emerge, and the weak will be brought back
to reality. Let's face it, Bre-X has a very promising future. With
the kind of huge ore reserves they have, I believe they will become
the next Barrick. Once their mine is operating, and they have cash
flow they will be able to expand their reach and grow, as Barrick is
doing today. I own shares of Bresea and Bre-X, and I am getting a
little tired of this sell-off. Yes, Cartaway and Timbuktu were
disasters, and were very silly plays. But Bre-X is no Cartaway. And
in the long term Bre-X will perform well.
