Unfortunately, I was preoccupied with helping my son with math, and never got to the debate. I suppose that one should ask what is wanted in a president. Reagan had dignity, graciousness, and good-humor, combined with a sense of firm purpose. He was a model for other democratic leaders. We want someone who reflects our values as "republicans", neither a king nor a demagogue, but a man of decency and decorum, who can represent the people without pandering to the mob. So far, the closest thing we have among the Electables is Dubya.......
