"God help those who rely on Merlin for short-term timing" ???????????? Wait a minute. I've never seen or heard from anyone who could convincingly predict the short term in the stock market. Merlin is far too wise to have ever claimed that. If you are really interested in reliable short term timing I can refer you to a gypsy tea leaf reader down the street or else to any book on "technical analysis" or charting. These books all come with my personal guarantee: i.e. that you will have wasted your money.
