What I perceive from your note is your _suspicions_ that MSFT is about to abuse its so-called monopoly power. Vigilance is good, but we can't prosecute folks on suspicions alone....... Someone who needs an O/S can buy a variety of stuff, including DR-DOS, PC-DOS, MAC, LINUX or what have you and have a shell/GUI desktop. That ain't monopoly. Thats creating a _brand_ name. E,g,, which brand of detergent will you _never_ buy, and why do some people _still_ buy it .......... BTW, as for NSCP giving away the browser as a "shareware" on a "try-before-you-buy" basis, kid only yourself.
