I may be way off base here, and feel welcome to correct me if I am. I always assumed that IT professionals would first choose the applications they want to run, then select the appropriate operating system, then choose the appropriate hardware. You imply that their decision would be based on the hardware first. My assumption would also be that many IT pro's would prefer to work with MSFT than Linux, but I could be wrong there as well. John
